About Us
MichelleMotivateMe.com is designed to give participants an opportunity to recall some of the information that was learned in the keynotes, seminars and training programs. According to Adult Learning Theory, we forget the majority of what we have learned if we do not put it into practice immediately. This website, the podcasts, and the OVTL on it should be referred to quite frequently to reinforce the learning that has taken place. Michelle is dedicated to helping people improve their lives and getting to the next level. Thank you for investing in yourself and participating in the process of improvement.
Biography
Michelle has been described as down to earth whether she is speaking to Captains of Cruise Ships or front line employees. Michelle’s user-friendly style brings information to life and gives her participants the opportunity to see a real life application. Using an entertaining and energetic approach, Michelle works to help attendees recognize their own promise and potential and guides them to proceed toward achieving their goals. She encourages participants to utilize their workbooks and offers tips to help them implement the concepts learned. Michelle also recommends that attendees share their knowledge with others and pass along the skills they have learned as another method of retaining the information.
Michelle takes education seriously; she continues to learn about adult learning theory and is also current with the latest technology. She has served as the Vice President of Communications for the Miami chapter of the American Society of Training and Development. She has also represented Johnson & Wales University, working with both domestic and international trainees on many major cruise lines. Not only does she have an extensive training background, but she also brings to the table a rich background in the Health & Beauty, Telecommunications, and Travel and Tourism industries.
Currently, Michelle is an instructor for Rockhurst University. As an instructor, she conducts one-day seminars in the public arena, as well as private seminars. Michelle is a memorable speaker who is not afraid to ask her audience powerful questions. She encourages people to take action, perform at optimum levels, and achieve concrete, long-lasting goals.
